In this talk, Dr. Yueming Lucy Qiu will give a summary of the recent and work-in-progress research projects in her group. Her current research portfolio contains projects under four interrelated themes. She uses rich massive datasets such as smart meter data from individual consumers, web-scraped point-level high-resolution power outage data, and individual property-level housing transaction and characteristics data. The four research themes in this talk are: equity and distributional impact in the energy systems, consumer behaviors in response to energy technologies and interventions, evaluation of energy policy and program effectiveness and impacts, and intended and unintended consequences of energy infrastructure transitions.
